Blades Co. is following the CDC, City & County of SF, and Contra Costa County health guidelines for cleaning, ventilation, protection & distancing. We’re happy to welcome back customers to our shop but please read the following guide to help you make your visit as safe and comfortable as possible for you and our staff:


Anything to know before visiting the shop?

If you’ve been experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as difficulty breathing, chest pains, coughing, fever, and diarrhea we kindly ask you to please not come to our shop.

There will be no cancelation fees imposed but we ask you to let us know about your need to cancel as soon as possible to better optimize our barbers’ time.

Appointments, walk-ins, and payments

  • Please book your appointments at www.bladesco.com
  • Walk-ins are welcome depending on availability of our staff
  • We accept all major credit & debit cards
  • Tips are in cash form only

Visiting the shop

We will be taking your temperature before entering the shop with a contactless thermometer. Any customer with a temperature of 99F or above will be asked to go home.

Masks are required to enter the shop if you are not vaccinated. If you don’t have a mask we will provide you with a disposable mask with elastics that goes behind the ear that allows our barbers to easily cut your hair.

Customers that present proof of vaccination are not required to wear a mask after October 15th, 2021. This applies to both our San Francisco and Walnut Creek locations.

What measures are the staff taking?

  • All of our staff members are fully vaccinated for COVID-19
  • All staff members will have their temperature checked at the start & end of their shifts
  • Equipment such as scissors & combs will be sanitized with high heat & pressure machines
  • All laundry will be washed in high-temperature water
  • Bathrooms and common areas will be cleaned & sanitized regularly
